Over the years, riding my mountain bike through the backcountry on the trails and winding roads that surround my home town of Crested Butte Colorado has been a great way to find subject matter for a good many paintings. This view is a familiar scene from a favorite ride. I typically stop here for a quick drink and a look back to admire the view before continuing on my return trip home.
